The view along the way and from the Helipad is stunningly beautiful! I can't find the proper words to describe the experience! Mt.Balagbag is recommended for 1st timers who wants to experience trekking, the trail is so easy to follow and safer than other mountain trails.
Along the way you will see a gate and a small house, you have to enter the gate and register before going to the Helipad, the area is a private property and there's a Php10.00 fee for each head.

  15. i'm a constant hiker here. very easy to climb . i often see senior citizens and grade-schooler (girls/boyscout) climb or go here (by vehicle.) big 4 wheels and bikes can access the area. very breath taking view if it is full moon. best season is from november to march.(sky is clearer) there is a registration fee around 100php at the baranggay and a tour guide fee of 350ph ( no fee for cars or bikes). overnight camping is allowed (tent can be rented at the baranggay). there is like a headquarters on top (1hr before reaching the summit/helipad) where basic restroom can be found. source of water is mountain spring. making bonfire is not advisable coz there are history of grass fire here. just remember not to litter on this area. this mountain offers nature at it's finest. folklore experience? my senses are open and that's also the reason why i go here every now and then. there are so many good things seen and unseen. this mountain is safe for everyone. even the food that the locals are offering are cheap and soooo yummy.
